#shoplocal Day 25, Leduc Artisan Market

Today is the last day for my #shoplocal feature, I can’t believe it’s the end of November already!  I truly hope you’ve enjoyed the vendors and shops shared for the past 25 days as much as I’ve loved putting them together for you.  Please leave me a comment below if it’s something you think I should do again, I love hearing your feedback!  Tomorrow I’ll have a recap post of the past month so it’ll be all in one place for your Christmas shopping convenience.

Because there’s so many great shops, artisans and authors and not enough time to write about them all, for the last post I’ve got huge lineup of great vendors for you at the Leduc Artisan Market.

LocalBooksWith well over 20 vendors on display, the items range from baby goods and homemade soaps to barn wood picture frames and locally written and published books (there’s more than 40 authors).  There’s even bottles of sparkling fruit juice made right in BC!  Local pottery, handmade soaps and personal care products and Christmas decor can all be found there too.

A big part of the market is Restore and Renew furniture reinvention.  Working with the full line of FUSION™ Mineral Paint,  Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint and Homestead House Milk Paint (all of which is manufactured in Canada by Homestead House Paint Company), it’s a place where you can take your old, tired furniture and have it redone into something new and exciting.  If you’d rather DIY, a full line of each along with brushes, stencils and waxes are all available for purchase.  IMG_0569

Donna started the market in 2013 with a partner and it grew so quickly she has since taken control of the entire shop.  With a wide range of products, she screens all the vendors that are interested in showcasing their talents to ensure no two businesses are alike.

Click any of the links below to check out what each business is about and find their contact information.  If you don’t see what you want on their pages, there might be something unique on display at the market and a lot of them take custom order as well.
