#shoplocal Day 23, Twig Boutique

Today is all about THE BEST little boutique I have ever come across.  Lindsay has opened up a real gem situated right on historic main street Camrose, Alberta.

TwigBoutique

I came across Twig as a recommendation from my cousin.  She was telling me about a great shop in Camrose that she thought would be a good fit for Farm Wife Style so I drove down there and checked it out.  FELL IN LOVE.

FraserFirIt’s a warm, rustic and cozy boutique full of all things neat and unique.  S’well water bottles, one-of-a-kind greeting cards, the Thymes Fraser Fir candle line which smells EXACTLY like a fresh cut Christmas tree, Hides in Hand ballet deerskin moccasins, copper nail clippers, Blue Q mens socks (that are so much funny), footwear, sweater mittens and boot socks, tattoo design colouring books, handmade cork luggage tags and wallets, home decor, and CLOTHES.  SO.  MANY.  PRETTY.  CLOTHES.  She’s one of the only shops I know in my area that stock Free People and I LOVE Free People.  Winter parkas, Christmas party dresses, casual sweatshirts and tees, there’s something trendy for everyone to wear.

The clothes are stylish, the decorations are eclectic and Lindsay, the owner, is welcoming and friendly.  Like I said, I drove down there to see her about my jewelry line and ended up learning her dad and my uncle are really good friends.  SweaterMittensMy Mom went to school with her aunt and Lindsay is close with my aunt as well, it’s a small world!

By the end of the conversation she was very interested in what I had to offer and I’m SO proud to say that Twig now stocks Farm Wife Style!  I’m delivering her order this week so on top of all the other amazing items she has in store, check out my jewelry there as well.

The Christmas rush is coming so if you think you might want to check it out, get down there and do some shopping, you will not be disappointed!  She’s open Monday to Saturday 10-5:30 with extended Christmas hours after December 18 posted on her Facebook page.

TwigA NOTE TO MY READERS: I want to reiterate that every one of these shops and artists have been selected by me to participate in my #shoplocal campaign.  I am receiving NO GRATUITIES OR FREEBIES for these shout outs and want to keep it that way!  I love all these places and what they offer and am sharing them to make my readers lives easier and promote local shopping in my area.
