#shoplocal Day 22, Creme Catering

Today I am SO EXCITED to bring you a great gift idea that’s very out-of-the-box.  Dedicated to my love for food, Creme Catering is a gift of an experience that will be sure to have you booking again and again.

My favourite part of the holidays is visiting and hosting parties for friends and family.  The feeling of warmth, love and friendship I get from sharing food and drink with those I love is like nothing else; it brings my heart so much joy and happiness.  I love doing it year-round but during the Christmas season, it’s especially special.  LaurenBoysLauren feels the same way and decided to turn it into her business.  How wonderful would it be to open up a dinner party experience or cooking lesson on Christmas morning and extend the feelings of the Christmas season in the New Year?  I know I would LOVE that.

Lauren is a friend that I have known for over a decade.  She is a vibrant personality that sugar coats nothing and that’s why we get along so well.  An organized and beautiful work-at-home Mom of three silly, fun-loving boys, she and her husband live very close to us in rural Leduc County and cooking and food are her passion. WatermelonCheeseBerry

Last year, she competed on Master Chef Canada and it gave her company great exposure.  Since then, she has cooked in food competitions around Edmonton and done very well for herself but her heart is in her home kitchen.

Her business services the greater Edmonton area including Leduc and Sherwood Park and she cooks some of the most outstanding food I have ever seen.  DuckGreensFrom watermelon goat cheese appies and seared duck and micro-greens to rich chocolate cream cheese cakes and two-bite tiramisu, every time I see shots of what she’s been preparing, I want to lick my screen.

She offers private dinner parties and cooking lessons in your own home, small event catering prepared in hers and delivered to you and an experience that will leave you wanting more, as well-prepared delicious food always does.  She takes care of the grocery shopping, planning, preparation, service and even brings the dishes and cleans up when it’s over!

Whether you’re having a birthday, anniversary, holiday party, staff luncheon, baptism or graduation, Lauren will take your ideas and bring them to life exactly as you imagined.   Visit her website, look over the sample menus, read the testimonials and then call or email her to book your party or purchase your gift certificate.  Your stomach will thank you now AND later.
