#shoplocal Day 4, Brickbubble

Brickbubble.  What is that you ask?  It’s a husband and wife team west of Edmonton combining an eclectic mix of creativity and a magic machine made of lasers that cuts and details absolutely anything you can ever imagine.

Some of the most perfectly beautiful work I have come across has come out of Diane’s home studio. KrakenEarring
Leather and wood are their preferred mediums but there’s also items like garment tags made from suede and Christmas ornaments made of acrylic and I guarantee you’ve not seen any work like this before.

Working mostly in laser engraving and cutting you can have anything made in their studio – buttons, keychains, ornaments, coasters, home decor and leather cuff-style bracelets and earrings.  How cool are these teal and chocolate Kraken Earrings?  They’re laser cut and hand-painted and unlike any others I’ve found.  BrickbubbleBraceletHere’s one of her mystery braid leather cuffs joined with Farm Wife Style’s mint green acrylic bracelet, beautiful colours and really stylish accessory combo as well.

With a background in graphic design, they’re well versed in all aspects of art.  Brickbubble also offers logo design and related business services such as stamps, signs and promotional materials to get your business standing out from the rest.

GlassleatherCuffThroughout the year orders go through their website but at this time of year, they’re busy preparing for holiday markets like Make It, The Handmade Revolution, which will be held this year in Edmonton in Hall H of the Edmonton Expo Centre from November 26-29.  Some of their pieces will be offered there exclusively, like these bright and beautiful glass and leather cuffs and 3D deer heads, so if you want one be sure to show up early!

A NOTE TO MY READERS: I want to reiterate that every one of these shops and artists have been selected by me to participate in my #shoplocal campaign.  I am receiving NO GRATUITIES OR FREEBIES for these shout outs and want to keep it that way!  I love all these places and what they offer and am sharing them to make my readers lives easier and promote local shopping in my area!
